Icons

Icons for the Liquid Web marketing website are powered by IcoMoon-generated kits and made available throughout the Kadence ecosystem using Kadence Custom Icons. These instructions will provide guidance for adding new icons to an existing icon library.

The project includes three custom icon libraries: Fill, Outline, and Platform. Fill and Outline are composed of the same icons, but a visually heavier appearance differentiates Fill.

You’ll need access to the IcoMoon Web Fonts folder in Google Drive with the current IcoMoon kits before beginning.

1. Get Current Font Icon Kit

  • Download the current IcoMoon kit you wish to update from Google Drive
  • Unzip the kit to locate its selection.json file

2. Update IcoMoon Kit

  • Go to IcoMoon
  • Create a new project
  • Select import icons from top nav
  • Import the selection.json
  • Add your new icons to the kit
  • Generate fonts using the settings from last round

3. Add New Icons to WordPress

  • Unzip the new icon kit downloaded from IcoMoon and locate its selection.json file
  • Open the desired icon library in the WordPress Admin
  • Replace Icon file with the new icon kit’s selection.json

4. Save IcoMoon to Google Drive

  • Save the updated IcoMoon kit zip file back to Google Drive
